Canadian Energy Centre director of research Mark Milke was on the Danielle Smith show to discuss the findings of a new Fact Sheet examining the value of Canada’s oil and gas imports over a three-decade span.

Research from Milke and co-author Lennie Kaplan found that oil and gas exports as a proportion of all of Canada’s energy exports have grown over the decades and are becoming more important, not less, generating some $1.9 trillion in cumulative value between 1988 and 2019.
